Our Foundation

MCP实验室成立于2024年底,由一群在区块链和人工智能领域拥有丰富经验的技术专家和企业家共同创立。我们敏锐地察觉到了两个关键趋势:一方面,区块链技术尤其是智能合约急需AI能力的赋能;另一方面,AI服务需要更加去中心化、透明和可信的基础设施。

MCP Labs was established in late 2024 by a group of technical experts and entrepreneurs with extensive experience in blockchain and artificial intelligence. We keenly observed two critical trends: on one hand, blockchain technology, especially smart contracts, urgently needs AI capabilities; on the other hand, AI services require more decentralized, transparent, and trustworthy infrastructure.

概念验证阶段(2023年底-2024年初):团队专注于研究大型语言模型与区块链智能合约的潜在集成路径,开发了早期原型系统。

Proof of Concept Phase (Late 2023-Early 2024): The team focused on researching potential integration paths between large language models and blockchain smart contracts, developing early prototype systems.

技术研发阶段(2024年上半年):确定了以AI+Web3 协议为核心的技术路线,完成了Context Network核心架构设计。

Technology Development Phase (First half of 2024): Established a technical roadmap centered on the AI+Web3 protocol, completed the core architecture design of Context Network, and released the first testnet.

生态构建阶段(2024年下半年):落地AGI 开源联盟,吸引众多AI服务提供商、区块链项目和企业用户加入,共同推动标准制定。

Ecosystem Building Phase (Second half of 2024): Initiated the establishment of the AGI Open Source Alliance, attracting numerous AI service providers, blockchain projects, and enterprise users to join and collectively promote standard setting.

商业化阶段(2025年至今):全球MCP联盟 和 Context Network正式落地,推出Web3版本的MCP服务,并与多家企业建立战略合作关系。

Commercialization Phase (2025 to present): Initiated the establishment of the Global MCP Alliance and Context Network, introduced the commercial version of MCP services, and established strategic partnerships with multiple enterprises.

The network adopts a modular design, including on-chain components (reputation contracts, order matching contracts, and aggregation contracts) and off-chain components (oracle node networks, MCP adaptation layer, and AI service layer), ensuring secure and reliable AI service interactions.

The MCP adaptation layer is our key technological innovation, achieving seamless conversion between blockchain requests and the MCP protocol. This technology allows any AI service compatible with the MCP protocol to be deployed to the blockchain environment with a single click, greatly reducing the technical threshold for AI services to access the blockchain.

核心组件包括协议转换器、会话管理系统和MCP协议扩展,解决了区块链无状态与AI对话有状态的矛盾。

Core components include a protocol converter, session management system, and MCP protocol extensions, resolving the contradiction between the stateless nature of blockchains and the stateful nature of AI conversations.
